Northern Assist Care In Home Support provides support to participants living in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide.
Managing Director Kylie G has grown up throughout life with family members & family friends living with various disabilities, from aquired brain injuries, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ASD, ADHD & ODD to list a few.
Kylie has a real understanding about the many challenges people & families may face in their day to day lives, and being able to have a voice and receive the care and supports tailored to each individual or families needs.
Obstacles we may face in our lives, whether that be with personal care, receiving a proper diagnosis, struggling making friends, not receiving the mental health support needed, or not having a voice in your supports- we would love to be able to help you!
We all all about giving you the supports you have asked for, tailoring this when needed, listening to you & building your supports around what makes your life flow the best, ensuring the right supports and care are provided.
At NAC, participants are given more opportunity to be heard & to have your own say on how & when your supports are provided & delivered, being centred around your choice and full control.
We pride ourselves on being different from the rest.
Different in a sense where we listen to the participant & tailor your supports around your choice & control to work towards your goals.
We work with participants to individualise your specialised care plan, building a team of fully qualified staff to provide the best supports possible.
We are a family feel community agency which provides care & supports where you are not only a participant, you will feel like part of the team.
Our supports are all one on one supports so we can give our 100 percent to the individual we are supporting, unless you would like to be included in our Monday and Funday community, which could be either 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 or 1 worker to 4 participants, depending on each participants support needed & we have transport to assist you in getting there.
We do many get to gethers throughout the year to celebrate lots of different cultures celebrations- Easter, Christmas in July, The Royal Show, The Melbourne Cup, Catch the Biggest Carp Competition, Christmas, New Years & lots more.
Our social events are offered to all participants to come and make friends in a safe and caring environment.

Kylie has a real passion on assisting everyone & anyone & has a strong rapport with people living in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide.

Jade H. - Office Manager
Jade H is Northern Assist Care's Office Manager.
Jade has been with Northern Assist since the beginning of 2020 & first started as a support worker, while completing her Registered Nursing at the end of 2020.
Jade works with us on Mondays,Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.
With Jades experience as a mother, support worker & Registered nurse, her sound knowledge of computer & compliance skills, also knowing how to keep professional and setting boundaries and really caring about the lives of those living with a disability and seeing how she interacts with many of our particpants- Kylie thought who better to take on the role of Office Manager than our very own Jade?
Jade has a sound knowledge of the ndis and always puts the particpant first which is one of our mottos, so when I seen her many times in action, I have had no hesitation in Jade with this role.

Sonya N - Senior Client Services
Sonya has been with Northern Assist since we originated in 2017 & has further experience at other Disability providers prior to being with us.
Sonya has a fun bubbly personality & brings many great qualities to NAC in her role.
Sonya is usually one of the first faces you will meet when setting up with us, letting you know about what we have to offer and seeing if that is suitable, listening to your needs and toilering a support plan with you, listening to your requests and then giving you the choice and control about what you have requested and how we may be able to assist you to reach them goals.
Sonya has lived in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide for many years & has a great sound knowledge of local and non local services provided throughout the sector, being able to support & offer participants a wide range of different services & supports if needed.
NAC have been blessed to have Sonya as part of our team for many years & look forward to many more.

Carolyn H. Client Services
Carolyn is Northern Assist Care's COVID-19 & RTWSA & Client Services Officer.
Carolyn assists participants, workers & office staff with all things COVID, keeping everyone safe and updating us with SA Healths requirements and following guidelines.
Carolyn is from the north and has worked with many different companies & participants throughout the years, learning many different skills & keeping them updated throughout her time with us.
Carolyn maintains participant support plans, behavioural plans, keeping them updated in the required time frames, and conducting and maintaining particpant and house risk assessments once set up.
Carolyn has a huge range of knowledge shared with our workers with any queries when they need her assistance.
Carolyn has been with NAC since 2019 and has been welcomed by everyone & is a great addition to our office management team.
We look forward to many more years ofCarolyn working in the NAC office with us and out in the field.
Jade W- Office Receptionist
Jade is Northern Assist Care's Receptionist and begun at the start of 2022.
Jade does a variety of tasks such as answering phone calls & taking messages, or pointing the call in the right direction to speak with either of the office staff, rostering & covering shifts, also office management administration.
Jade has lived in the Northern Suburbs all of her life and has been a great asset to Northern Assist Care with an awesome rapport with all of our participants, workers & office staff, families and the greater community.
The dynamic of the office staff we currently have had for the last few years is the best- I love how everyone fulfils their roles to above and beyond whilst having a great office atmosphere between staff, having lots of fun with dance & singing in their office time.
Jade is always happy to help if there's anyone that would like assistance with anything, and can point you in the right direction when contacted.
